Our screenings are informal. Your appointment is usually set up on an afternoon that is set aside for our LASIK pre-op and post-op patients and our LASIK screenings We will give you all the time to ask all the questions you want and we will try to give you as much information as you need. . Our Lasik Coordinator will give you informational brochures that pertain to our practice and LASER vision correction Your consultation will take approximately 45-60 minutes. We will check your current prescription to determine your degree of nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism. Our techs will work up your exam on our State-of-the-Art Epic 2100 Refraction Machine. Your findings will be presented to Dr.Tin, and you will spend time with him in his exam room where he will check your vision, and take a brief look at the condition of your corneas to ensure that they are healthy,and listen to your visual needs as he evaluates whether you will be a good candidate, He will go over with you the procedure that is best for you.
Our Lasik Coordinator and patient accounts staff will help you with your questions on payment, payment plans and available financing. After your consultation with Dr Tin, our LASIK Coordinator will discuss our surgery protocol, and give you the pricing options for the procedure. Any questions you may still have about Laser Vision Correction will be answered at this time. Telephone calls on a question you may not have thought about during your screening are also welcomed.
